Becoming the confidentiality layer for the T-REX Ledger, executing the first confidential OTC trade onchain, presenting at FHE.org 2026, and more

The team at Zama shares major partnership milestones, our research contributions at FHE.org 2026 in Taipei, new ecosystem tooling with Blockscout, and the launch of Developer Program Mainnet Season 2.

Partnerships and integrations

Zama protocol is now the native confidentiality layer of the T-REX Ledger, the infrastructure behind $32B+ in tokenized assets under the ERC-3643 standard. The T-REX Ledger acts as the single compliance record that every connected blockchain references before settling a transaction. By integrating Zama's FHE, transferred amounts and resulting balances are now encrypted, while any observer can still confirm a transaction was properly executed and compliant. Compliance was solved. Now, confidentiality is too.
Zama and GSR have completed the first confidential OTC trade on Ethereum, bringing institutional trade execution onchain with full confidentiality. This marks a move from theory to execution: encrypted order matching, settlement, and balance updates, all happening onchain without exposing trade details to the public.
Blockscout now natively supports ERC-7984 confidential tokens. Users can explore confidential token activity directly in the block explorer, including shielded balances and encrypted transfers. A significant step forward for onchain transparency tooling that respects confidentiality.

Research

The 5th Annual FHE.org Conference on Fully Homomorphic Encryption took place in Taipei, co-located with Real World Crypto 2026 and in cooperation with IACR. The conference attracted 168 registered attendees, 55 submissions, and sponsorship from Apple, AWS, Google, and others.

Our research team presented eight contributions: 3 talks and 5 posters.

Talks.

Accelerating TFHE with Sorted Bootstrapping Techniques by Loris Bergerat
Randomization in FHE and TFHE by Nigel Smart
Iterated Hash Functions over Encrypted Data: News from the Front by Marc Joye

Posters.

Complex Elections via Threshold (Fully) Homomorphic Encryption
Sub-Millisecond TFHE Bootstrapping on GPU
Practical SNARGs for Matrix Multiplications over Encrypted Data
Concrete Estimation of Correctness and IND-CPA-D Security for FHE via Rare Event Simulation
Let's Talk: How TFHE Became Practical

Topics ranged from bootstrapping performance and GPU acceleration to verifiable computation over encrypted data and real-world voting protocols. Read the full recap.

Meet the team

The Zama team is active across conferences, developer sessions, and ecosystem events.

Agents Anonymous + OpenClaw Meet-up. Join us on Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00 PM CET at Ledger HQ during Paris Blockchain Week. Register here (approval required).
Zama Builder Villa at EthCC[9]. The Zama team spent 4 days in Cannes with one clear focus: confidentiality and compliance on public blockchains as the missing layer for institutional-grade onchain finance. The Builder Villa hosted ecosystem demos and compliance deep-dives with Deloitte and T-REX Network. Full recordings will be available soon.
